Pancakes

What you need

  • ½ mug plain flour

  • 1 mug milk

  • 2 large eggs

  • 3 tablespoons of butter

  • 5 tablespoons of vegetable oil

  • Large bowl

  • Mug

  • Fork

  • Hand whisk (optional)

  • Tablespoon

  • Frying pan

  • Spatula

Method

  1. Beat the eggs in a large bowl and add the milk and 2 tablespoons of oil.

  2. Slowly mix the flour into the egg mixture using a fork or hand whisk and stirring all the time.

  3. Leave the mixture in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before using.

  4. Put a frying pan on medium heat on the hob.

  5. Add ½ tablespoon of oil and ½ tablespoon of butter to the pan for each pancake.

  6. Pour 4 tablespoons of the pancake mix onto the pan and spread evenly.

  7. Cook until bubbles start to form on the surface of the pancake and then flip and cook the pancake on the other side.

  8. Serve the pancakes with your choice of honey, sugar, lemon juice, cream, berries, Nutella, bananas - or whatever you fancy!
